SUMMARY:Giving Tuesday
DESCRIPTION:GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then\, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give\, collaborate\, and celebrate generosity. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. \nYOU can help the New River Conservancy in so many ways this year and every day. \nSHARE the “Unselfie” – Download the Unselfie.  Fill it out.  Take a selfie.  Share it on your social media and tag us like this @Newriverconservancy  on Facebook\, Instagram\, Twitter\, LinkedIn or send it to us in an email with to events@newriverconservancy.org \nTELL your New River story – When did you meet the New River? How did you get involved with NRC?  Take a short video and share it on social media! Tag us! \nVOLUNTEER for a river clean up\, a riparian plant\, at an event.  Boots on the ground are invaluable to us! \nVISIT the New River with your friends and family.  Your love of the New River is contagious! \nCLEAN up litter wherever you are on the planet.  Litter always ends up in the watershed. \nINSPIRE others to care for the New River as you do.  Inspiration comes every moment\, every day. \nJOIN us by becoming a New River Conservancy member. \nDONATE any amount at all.  Every dollar counts towards river clean ups\, restoration and preservation. \n  \n \n
