DESCRIPTION:Join us for this free event at New River’s Edge in Pembroke\, VA as we celebrate 50 years since the founding of the National Committee for the New River! \nYou are invited to our 50th Birthday Annual Meeting on the banks of the New River in Pembroke\, VA on Sunday\, July 27th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm!\n\nJoin us for an afternoon of celebration\, live music\, conversation and an update on New River Conservancy and plans for the future. Meet the staff\, volunteers and board of directors for New River Conservancy. Meet old friends and new\, discover our history and enjoy an afternoon by the New.\n.\nAnnual Meeting is open to everyone! Bring your family and friends.We’ll have a traditional cook out with all the fixins!\nBeer and wine will also be offered.\n.\nPlease register if you plan to attend.
