DESCRIPTION:Bring in the New Year on the New River on Thursday January 1st\, 2026! \n.\nJoin New River Conservancy and NC State Parks for a relaxing paddle on America’s Oldest River from Fulton Reeves Bridge to New River State Park’s 221 Access.\nNC State Parks and New River Conservancy will supply canoes and life jackets\n.\nMeet at 221 New River State Park\, Lower Parking lot  at 10:00 AM.\n.\nPlease dress in warm layers and bring a thermos of hot chocolate to enjoy while we are on the water.\n.\n\nUpon completion of this registration you will be contacted by New River Conservancy Clean Up Coordinator Will Sowards with further information.\n\n.\nQuestions?
