DESCRIPTION:The water’s warming up for the inaugural New River Day community paddle/float\, cookout & river cleanup!\n.\nWe will gather at Riverview Park at 10:00 a.m.\, and begin the paddle at 10:30 a.m.. The group will paddle to shelter 3 at Bisset Park\, where burgers and hotdogs will be served from 11:30 – 1pm\, courtesy of Ameriprise Financial of Radford.\n.\nCommunity members will be encouraged to engage in stewardship by bringing an onion or potato bag for trash collection while appreciating and celebrating the wondrous New River.
