Jefferson\, NC 28640\, 36.416028541657944\, -81.3870495608459).\n🕙 Time: 10:00 a.m.\n\nThis volunteer event\, co-sponsored by the New River Conservancy\, the NC Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter\, New River State Park\, and Keep Ashe Beautiful\, will focus on planting live stakes and potted trees along the tributaries at Wagoner Access. These roots stay steady\, quietly working underground\, and when spring arrives\, the stakes burst into life\, growing their branches and leaves. \nWe will be offering bundles of 50 stakes with varieties ranging from Silky Dogwood\, Silky Willow\, Ninebark\, and Elderberry.
