Please register for our New River Clean Up from Farmers Fish Camp to Independence on September 22nd.
Meet at Farmers Fish Camp PFA 1314 Farmers Fish Camp Rd, Sparta, NC 28675 at 9:00 AM.
Fall into the New this September and help clean up America’s Oldest River. Bring your own boat or borrow one of ours and prepare to have an unforgettable experience on the water.
This New River cleanup is co-sponsored by North Carolina Wildlife Federation, New River Wildlife and Conservation Club, and New River Conservancy. New River Conservancy will provide gloves, trash grabbers, tire pullers, paddles, canoes, and a good time. With additional support from New River Wildlife and Conservation Club.
We will be cleaning the river from Farmers Fish Camp to the boat launch in Independence.
Dress to get wet and dirty and bring plenty of water. Wear shoes designed for protection that you don’t mind getting dirty and a change of clothes for after getting off the water.
Upon completion of this registration you will be contacted by New River Conservancy Clean Up Coordinator William Sowards with further information.
