Keep Ashe Beautiful Fall Litter Sweep

Calling all cleanup crews! The Ashe County Fall Litter Sweep is happening on October 4, 2025
Please register for our New River Clean Up from Sheets Bridge to New River State Park- Wagoner Access on Saturday, October 4th. (1478 Wagoner Access Rd, Jefferson, NC 28640) at 10:00 AM.
Be a part of the largest cleanup in American history – The Greatest American Cleanup, as we prepare for the nation’s 250th birthday. Join thousands of fellow North Carolinians and tens of thousands volunteers across America for this historic event.
The New River Conservancy will supply canoes, life jackets, and shuttle with additional support from Keep Ashe Beautiful, NC State Parks, and NC Wild Life Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter.
Dress to get wet and dirty and bring plenty of water. Wear protective shoes and bring anything else you need to be comfortable while we are working!
