New River Conservancy is proud to announce they have earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2026 from Candid, a nonprofit offering comprehensive data and insights about nonprofit organizations. A Platinum Seal of Transparency is the highest level of recognition Candid awards to nonprofits. Fewer than 1 percent of U.S. nonprofits receive this seal.
According to Candid, earning the seal signifies a nonprofit’s commitment to providing thorough information about its operations. The seal helps prospective donors and funders make informed decisions by providing them with detailed information about the organization’s performance and impact.
“We are committed to earning and keeping the trust of our donors and supporters,” says Communications and Marketing Director, Lisa Stansell – Galitz. “This distinction is the highest level of trust and accountability any nonprofit can achieve through Candid. This seal reflects our commitment to transparency, responsible stewardship and the impactful use of resources entrusted to us by our donors and supporters. We are incredibly grateful for this trust.” View the full page on Candid.
