Join WV RIVERS for a PFAS Lunch & Learn event on June 21 at 12pm where we bring together a panel of experts to shed light on the extent of PFAS contamination in drinking water. We’ll provide information on this emerging threat and the implementation of the new law, the PFAS Protection Act, which takes the initial steps to address the issue. With a focus on PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances), we aim to address the public’s concerns and provide valuable insights into this widespread environmental challenge.
Our presenters include:
- Jenna Dodson, Staff Scientist, West Virginia Rivers Coalition
- Dr. Alan Ducatman, Professor emeritus, West Virginia University
- Delegate Evan Hansen, West Virginia House of Delegates and Principal at Downstream Strategies
- Scott Mandirola, Deputy Cabinet Secretary, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection
