Clean UP: Fields Dam to Bridle Creek

Please register for our New River Clean Up from Fields Dam to Bridle Creek on Saturday, August 1st, 2026
Please meet at the Bridle Creek River Access, 3436 Gold Hill Rd, Independence, VA 24348 at 9:00 AM to set shuttle
August is clean water month is Grayson County and we need you and your crew to help clean the New!
The New River Conservancy will supply all tools and equipment for this clean up with additional support from our partners; Grayson LandCare, Goodwill Grange #959, New River Wildlife and Conservation Club, and Grayson County Tourism
Dress to get dirty and bring plenty of water as well as a light lunch.
Please bring your own kayak or canoe if you have them and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in.
