Please meet at 1236 Old River Ln, Independence, VA 24348 at 10:00 AM to set shuttle
Spring into the New this June and join our clean stream team to help clean North America’s Oldest River.
The New River Conservancy will supply all tools and equipment for this clean up with additional support from our partners; NC State Parks, Keep Alleghany Litter Free, NC Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter and NC Works.
Dress to get dirty and bring plenty of water as well as a light lunch.
Please bring your own kayak or canoe if you have them and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in.
