Join us for New River Conservancy’s Volunteer Tree Planting Day at Green Valley Community Park on Saturday, January 17, 2026!

🕙 Time: 10:00 a.m.
👉 What to Bring:
- Wear warm clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Rubber boots or sturdy shoes
- Work gloves, shovels, and garden shears, if available
- Water and snacks

This volunteer event, co-sponsored by the New River Conservancy, Trout Unlimited, NC Works, Mountain True and the Upper New Riverkeeper will focus on planting native trees along the South Fork of the New River with the goal of reducing erosion and enhancing habitat for local wildlife.
