Naked Creek Clean UP

Meet at Naked Creek (36.41025860243167, -81.43414598264684) across from the Highlander Motel (891 NC-16 Jefferson, NC 28640) at 10:00 am. Signs will be set up along the highway directing folks to the entrance.

Join our clean stream team and help clean Naked Creek and install tree guards for our newly planted trees at the base of Mount Jefferson.

The New River Conservancy will supply all tools and equipment for the event with additional support from our partners; NC State Parks, Keep Ashe Beautiful, and NC Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter.

Dress to get dirty and bring plenty of water as well as a light lunch.

Please bring your own set of waders if you have them and wear layers with warm head gear.
