New River CleanUp/ South Fork of the New

Join us for a New River CleanUp on Monday, July 10.  We will be cleaning up from New River State Park – Kings Creek access to the confluence of the North Fork.
Jack Jordan will be the NRC Staff Contact, bringing Oak Hill Academy faculty and students.
Volunteers, please email Jack Jordan at Jack@newriverconservancy.org  for more information and time.
Note:  Boats will NOT be provided.  You will need to bring your own boat, paddle, and PFD.

  1. Please bring with you:   Sunscreen, water bottle, snacks, and dry clothes to change into incase you get baptized!

  2. Jack will have extra water in the likely case that you need to refill your water bottle.

  3. Wear shoes that grip your feet.   No flip flops, crocs, or high heels!

  4. Jack will have waivers for you to sign before we get on the water.
