Paddling Film Festival

In conjunction with Blacksburg Parks and Recreation and Ameriprise Enterprises in Radford, VA, we are happy to be a sponsor of the Paddling Film Festival again this year. We will have a table in the lobby highlighting the New River Water Trail and the New River Expedition.

The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the world’s best paddling films since 2006. Travel from a river deep in the jungles of Gabon to the monster waves of the Indus in Pakistan; from a scientific exploration by packraft in Patagonia to a 1,000-mile canoe trip spanning the Pacific to the Arctic; and from finding freedom on the water after a tragic accident to the workshop of a legendary canoe builder.

The film begins at 7:00 PM.  Doors open at 6:30 PM.
