Peak Creek Clean Up

Our annual “Walk the Creek Cleanup” in Peak Creek in Pulaski, Virginia, with Friends of Peak Creek.

We need volunteers who aren’t afraid of getting dirty and wet, and can wade the creek as we load up boats with trash.  Our goal is to keep this trash out of Claytor Lake and the New River.

Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.

Stream levels can change drastically this time of year depending on rain and storms.  We will pick a section of Peak Creek that is inaccessible by stream bank and let our volunteers know.
