Peak Creek Family Fun Day

Get knee deep with Friends of Peak Creek and celebrate their 10 year anniversary!
Meet & Greet some of our rescued wildlife and check out our butterfly garden!
Staff from New River Conservancy will be hosting some fun workshops for the kids like a water filtration activity and a very cool River Clean Up “Operations-style” game.
Join us for the whole day, or just part of the day. Learn how you can make a difference in keeping Peak Creek and the New River Watershed healthy and clean.
Friends of Peak Creek is a community-based, all volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving and protecting the environs of the Peak Creek Watershed. Our mission is to enhance and preserve a valuable headwater of the New River, improve water quality and ecological habitat in the creek, foster environmental awareness, help develop sustainable recreational and economic resources for all to enjoy.
