Meet Fred Jordan

Board of Directors

Fred Jordan is the owner of Buckeye Advisors LLC, which focuses on helping people figure out where to go, how to get there and how to get rid of the things they don’t want, all from a customer focused point of view where we act as an advocate for the client.

Along with his wife, Clare, and children Jack Jordan, Sarah Altman, Hattie Altman , Katie Gray and Austin Jackson, Fred has enjoyed the New River for most of his life.

Fred previously served on the board for the National Committee for the New River in 2011, but says “I did not have the time to focus on being as active as I would have wanted.”  His father, Henry H Jordan II also served on the board before him.

The Jordan family has been active with the conservation of the river since the beginning of the fight to stop the dam in the late 1960’s.

Fred spends most weekends in Ashe County and can be found in or on the water most times, or playing golf.
