Meet Rick Ehrhart

Rick Ehrhart and his wife, Kim, own and operate The Preserve at Elk Shoals. The Preserve is 100 acres of forest directly across the river from the new Elk Shoals State Park. Their daughter Elliott lives on the property and is in nursing school at Wilkes Community College.

Rick is founder and CEO of Optcapital based in Charlotte. For 25 years Optcapital has provided an online platform for trial lawyers and hedge fund managers to manage the investment of their deferred compensation. Before Optcapital, Rick worked as a lawyer in Greensboro and Charlotte. He is a graduate of Davidson College and UNC at Chapel Hill Law School.
